This organization is dedicated to the enhancement of communities across the country by promoting civic virtues. To this end, we educate members on the basics of citizenship - such as history, law, government, language, and critical thinking - but also on practical skills so that they are capable of being productive community members. The American Concord Society offers the framework for each and every locality to build a better culture, and for each citizen to find purpose therein. Although the means might differ from place to place, the goals remain the same across the spectrum. A better country is only possible if it is comprised of active communities made up of virtuous citizens. Our goal therefore is to help everyone improve their own little corner of the world.
