America's Got Stories Details
America's Got Stories is a writing contest that is themed. The first theme is Angels and Demons. Writers can submit a story between 2500 - 5000 words, along with a head shot and a short bio. Their is a $25 submission fee, with students at $20. Their story and their bio will be posted on the website where the public can read and score it. At the end of the submission period (Feb. 28, 2011) the judges will select the top stories to go into an AGS book that will be printed and posted on Amazon.
