Hi everyone and welcome to my Anglers Resources website. Fishing has been a passion of mine since I was 11 years old, I remember reading magazines such as: Bassin, In-Fisherman, Field & Stream, and Sports Afield just to name a few. At the same time I watched many fishing programs on TV including: Midwest Outdoors Magazine, In-Fisherman, The Fishin Hole, Tony Dean Outdoors, Jimmy Houston Outdoors, Hank Parker Outdoors, Fishing with Orlando Wilson, Fishing with Roland Martin, Outdoor Encounters, The Hunt for Big Fish, etc. I remember when I was 12 years old, my dad befriended a fisherman who regularly fished Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village Illinois he told my dad how to get there and that it had nice fish in there, a lot of different species such as: Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Channel Catfish, Northern Pike, Carp, Bluegill, and probably a few surprise species. I remember not being able to sleep the night before with visions of lots of fish and big fish in my mind, I'm sure that many of you can relate to that imagination. Then the day of the trip my blood and adrenaline would be flowing as we packed up the car and headed out on our first of what would become many Fishing Adventures. That first trip I was able to catch a bluegill and bass on the same cast and I was hooked with the fishing bug for life, for a boy to have that scenario play out was instantly gratifying and euphoric. I then learned that Busse Woods (Ned Brown Forest Preserve) is a 3,700 acre Nature Preserve named after Edward "Ned" Eagle Brown, and it adjoins both Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg Illinois it is made up of 3 different pools of water, the North Pool, the South Pool, and the Main Pool. It has numerous entrances to access each pool, 2 dams, 6 Fishing Walls, many Picnic Groves, Huge Meadows, 2 Boat Launches one on the Main Pool, and one on the South Pool, a Bait Shop/Boat Rental on the Main Pool, and 20+ miles of shoreline.Now I want to give back to the Sport that I am so Passionate
