MISSION STATEMENTThe Animal Care Assistance Program (ACAP) is a 501c3 organization that offers funding to low-income and disadvantaged populations in rural Louisa and surrounding counties who cannot otherwise afford pet care including veterinary services and medications for their companion animals. ACAP'S services can also include grooming, emergency surgeries, fencing or housing for chained dogs, pet food and other services as needed. ACAP is dedicated to promoting public education and awareness by educating the communities they serve on the humane care of all pets.
