Anjellicle Cats Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit 501c3 cat rescue dedicated to helping make New York City a no-kill city. We are one of the most active cat rescues in New York City. We rescued over 1500 cats in 2014 and 1200 of those were at immediate risk for euthanasia at the city shelter. As a New Hope Partner with Animal Care and Control (ACC), we work closely with the ACC to save sick, injured and so-called unadoptable animals from being euthanized. Each rescued cat is given love, medical care and welcomed with kindness into a foster home with the goal of adoption into a permanent, loving home. We have a network of about 300 foster homes and over 500 cats available for adoption. Visit us at our adoption events every weekend 1:00-6:00pm -- Saturdays at Petco 86 (UES) and Sundays at Petco 100 (UWS). Or stop by one of our Adoption Centers to meet our cats and chat with our volunteers. We welcome new fosters, adopters, and volunteers!
