The APE TeamAndrew Tan, our CEO, was the Chairman of the Singapore General Rice Importers Association for 10 years from 2008-2018. He is MD of Min Feng Group, a leading B2B rice supplier. Andrew volunteers in the social sector with Metta Welfare, Lion Befrienders, and Teochew organizations.Ang Kian Peng, our Action Advisor, founded The Social Kitchen - http://thesocialkitchen.com.sg – with seven restaurants around Singapore, hiring special needs staff and offering alternative protein dishes. KP is a long-time stalwart in the social sector, creating a kitchen at Changi Prison that daily produces 6000 meals for the needy.David Lau, our Strategy Advisor, is the former Head, Global Treasury & Markets at DBS. David runs a fund that guides people who want returns on their investments that at the same time bring returns for society.Avelyn Lee, COO, co-founded The Social Kitchen and has been instrumental in its expansion. Avelyn has one foot in the banking industry with the other foot directed towards social goals. Heng Guan Hou, Managing Director, ensures that we do everything on the straight and narrow. Heng comes to APE Foods after founding an organic brown rice company and with a long history in the NGO sector, including serving as vice-president of Vegetarian Society (Singapore).
