Improv-ing Your Business is our business. Apixii has been conducting improv workshops for businesses locally in Denver and all over the country for over 20 years with many different companies (as the Bovine Metropolis Theater). Our sessions are fun, effective, results-driven, and proven to work.Over 20 years ago, Eric Farone and Denise Maes started teaching improv in Denver. Two corporate trainers who decided to leave their work in corporate America to devote themselves to the fast-growing the art of improvisation. As they worked they studied and dug in more and the relevance to organizational development seemed obvious and the corporate world was calling them again. This time as consultants, they used Applied Improvisations to get groups listening, communicating, being more creative and developing group mind. These are all things that improv teaches in very fast and sticky ways. Denise and Eric found themselves teaching teams and leaders to be more improvisational and reactive and learning more about the art they love.Apixii has 3 areas of focus.1) Workshops- (for work groups and teams). These session can be anything from Team Building to Listening to Creativity to Dynamic Leadership. These sessions are built for smaller teams. They create cohesion and develop a shared lexicon and behavior model.2) Partnerships- (with departments and companies). A one off workshop can right the boat. Our partnership plans are about getting everyone pulling in the same direction. We will work with your unit or company to get everyone focused on applying the practices of improvisational thinking.3) Applied Improvisation Institute- (for individuals).The Applied Improvisation Institute utilizes improvisation to not only teach the 21st century business skills required to become an effective leader, but also hones those skills to a finely tuned edge. Think of it as an M.B.A. in improv.
