Abbey Plumbing Ltd (t/a APL Mechanical Services) have been established since January 1993 based at Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, Lancashire. Our in-house teams specialise in heating, plumbing and mechanical contracts including ductwork, ventilation and air conditioning, tempered air systems and air handling units. Working throughout the whole of England our experience within the industry covers a wide spectrum of areas including public houses, listed buildings including train stations, hotels, airports, leisure industry, local authority and new build housing developments, bespoke housing refurbishments, Care homes and hospital. We can provide detailed specifications and schematic drawings and have a full CAD system so that we can provide our own drawings. We also provide detailed mechanical surveys on projects, reporting on condition of existing plant and equipment and recommendations for new schemes. Our business partnership approach allows us to build mutually successful relationships, delivering high quality, cost effective and sustainable solutions, tailored to meet the needs of our Clients, working together to ensure exact requirements are met.All of our staff undergo induction Health and Safety Training and asbestos training is given to all site personnel and is regularly updated and reviewed. Training undertaken includes manual handling, PASMA, IPAF, WRAS, NPORS and WIAPS. We are registered with F GAS, Gas Safe, APHC, Safe Contractor and are a Mitsubishi Electric Gold Partner.All of our Management and Tradesmen hold the CSCS card certification. Our Heating Engineers are registered with Gas Safe and our management undergo IOSH training.APL carries all the relevant insurances including Employers, Public & Products liability and Professional Indemnity.
