APPLIED RESOLUTION TECHNOLOGIES is a trading name used by JATCO (Australia) Pty Ltd. The company, often referred to as ART, specializes in the development and manufacture of Intrinsically Safe laser devices for use in hazardous environments. The primary application markets for ART products are in underground coal mining and the oil & gas industry, however wherever hazardous environments exist it is important to use certified products. ART has developed a range of automation-enabled laser products to facilitate productivity enhancement in mining processes and to provide monitoring processes in industry.The new products Certified under IECEx SIM 13.0005 include systems with either red or green laser output, either Class 2 (1mW) or Class 2M (< 5mW large beam) systems for medium or long range use, and either fixed battery or removable battery module systems.ART is continuing its development of Certified laser products at its YAMBA facilities towards automation and measurement processes. Clients are encouraged to contact us with ideas and requirements towards future automation. ART has also established innovative processes for conveyor alignment including idler/roller alignment processes. These laser solutions provide alignment means which enable conveyor systems to operate closer to their design tolerances for optimum performance.Applied Resolution Technologies also has a Certified Repair Facility under IECEx Certification. ART also has established laser-based mineral sorting technologies, glass inspection processes and other technologies based on our long history in application development.
