What is AEF?The Arcadia Educational Foundation (AEF) is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 in response to substantially reduced federal and state funding for California public schools.AEF's PurposeThe Arcadia Educational Foundation's purpose is to raise funds for the Arcadia Unified School District. The Foundation is administered by parent and community member Trustees who represent the interests of each of Arcadia's 10 public schools.What Does AEF Do?AEF runs the annual summer school program and offers $25,000 in teacher grants each year. It also funds the District-wide phone and text communication system so that school officials can communicate with parents in a timely and convenient manner.
