Multiple Myeloma is a complex and often misdiagnosed cancer of the bone marrow that affects plasma cells, which comprise the immune system and bone. The cause is unknown. In the USA there are over 2,041 new cases of myeloma diagnosed every month! Yearly in Maricopa 301 are diagnosed and 191 die from myeloma.
