Arts Waikato is the region's community arts trust, offering free advice, support and advocacy to the arts sector in the Greater Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand.Our focus is community arts groups and the non-commercial arts sector. Our aim is to encourage the development of arts and culture across the region and across all arts areas.We also have key initiatives such as scholarships for tertiary study and arts management workshops .Arts Waikato works in all arts areas - visual, music, theatre, film, crafts,dance, literature, heritage and Maori arts.
