Artspace TMU is an accessible, student-led artist-run centre, located in 401 Richmond Street West, a heritage-designated, industrial arts building in the heart of downtown Toronto. For over twenty-five years Artspace TMU has been providing a unique and professional setting for Toronto Metropolitan University students, faculty, and alumni to experiment and showcase their work.For over twenty-four years we have been providing a unique and professional setting for thousands of emerging artists to showcase their work. This gallery space is rich with a lengthy history and provides an unparalleled opportunity for Ryerson students and Alumni to gain recognition in the Toronto arts community. The space is run by five student employees, co-op students and several volunteers. Supported by Image Arts at the Creative School, our mandate is to provide a venue for contemporary Canadian emerging artists.
