ASD Publishing opened their doors in spring 2011 with the goal of publishing high quality work - promoting the spirit of the indie community. Taking a risk on a new writer or propelling an existing one into the digital world is ASD's passion. Our authors, like our company, do not fall into one particular genre - however each promote the mission of ASD through their wonderful words that share journeys of personal growth. Being a small publishing house with both fiction and non-fiction allows the company to reach a multitude of readers and gives writers an alternative to traditional publishing. ASD Publishing published their first work in the summer of 2011 and have gone on to publish diverse titles, some of which have won awards with the International Book Awards, Paris Book Festival, The Readers Favorite Awards, San Francisco Book Festival, USA Best Book Awards, and the New York Book Festival. In 2013, ASD expanded to the world of film and has gone on to produce two short films: MOTHER and HIDING IN DAYLIGHT. Both have been award-winning films with the latter screening at the American Pavilion in Cannes in 2019. ASD's third short REPARATIONS is due out in 2020. ASD has a mission to be a strong indie voice by concentrating on intriguing and arresting works no matter if that's for books, film, or the stage.
