ASE Community FoundationWe are focused on identifying systemic gaps, and advancing a transformative cultural shift where the intersectionality of experiences, voices, and talents of Black Canadians living with disabilities are embraced and valued. Our inspirational members and volunteers aim to:▪ Work from an understanding that while there is distinct research, policies, andresources available for Black Canadians, and for all Canadians with disabilities, there exists a gap in understanding the intersectional experiences of Black Canadians withdisabilities, within the historical context and elevated climate of anti-black racism, neo-colonialism, and ableism, and▪ Is well-positioned to support organizations that work with Black clients, as well as black Canadians with disabilities, thereby collectively advancing the overall wellbeing and economic engagement of the Black community in Canada.
