ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) was born in 1880, to ensure that all engineered products and processes follow strict guidelines to ensure their safety and quality. ASME binds Engineering students and professionals by several quality programs in continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations and other forms of outreach.Today it has over 120,000 members in 150 countries around the globe.ASME UET KSK was founded in June 2011 by the joint efforts of students of Sessions 2008 and 2009, to provide our new campus a separate and distinct platform for participating in ASME International competitions.
