Founded in Marrakech in February 1997, Ennakhil Association is an independent, apolitical, and non-confessional intermediary NGO of Moroccan law. It's mission is to promote women's rights, to establish equality in laws and public policies and to fight against violence against women. Its areas of strategic activity are the fight against violence and all forms of discrimination against vulnerable groups, women's economic empowerment and the development of participatory democracy aimed at promoting gender-sensitive public policies. It acts according to a multidimensional approach based on capacity building, awareness, advocacy, research and study and partnerships among others.
