Founded in 2013, the Austrian Fashion Association is a cultural association with the mission to support, nurture, professionalize and promote emerging fashion talents. Working at the intersection of fashion design, culture and economy, the Austrian Fashion Association encourages critical approaches, innovative processes, community building and sustainable practices. With its grant program based on excellency, an open-door consulting strategy and projects in the fields of production, distribution and promotion, the Austrian Fashion Association aims to establish and strengthen the development of a new generation of fashion designers ready to make an impact on the industry and society at large.The Austrian Fashion Association is funded by the Arts Division and the Culture Division of the Federal Chancellery of Austria (BMKÖS) and the Cultural Section of the City of Vienna.
