ARISE's purpose is to promote social welfare, including to(a) conduct research, education, training and workforce development in Air-Sea-Land Autonomous Traffic Management, Urban/Advanced Air Mobility and related Artificial Intelligence applications, (b) educate students and citizens on these topics, and (c) provide advisory service on these topics to policy makers, industry, and the public. Founding members include Hampton University, Old Dominion University, College of William and Mary, The City of Hampton, The Longbow Group and The National Institute of Aerospace.
