Canadian Armenian Community Services Centre Bridging and serving the Canadian Armenian community through social, cultural and educational programs. *Message info@barevcentre.com for questions or to join our volunteer team*Get to know our programs: St Sahag and St Mesrob Saturday SchoolFounded in 1956, it is the oldest Armenian language school in Toronto, offering classes from Kindergarten to Grade 8, ages 3-13, in both Western and Eastern Armenian.The School is in partnership with the Toronto District School Board's International Languages Elementary Program.Sassoun Dance Ensemble Established in 2004, this Armenian dance ensemble boasts 3 age groups and performances all over the world including in Armenia/Karabagh, Argentina & Uruguay, Australia, as well as the USA. The ensemble has also shared its passion for dance in multicultural festivals on such famous Toronto stages as Canada's Wonderland, Dundas Square, Canadian National Exhibition, David Pecaut Square, Scotiabank Arena and Nathan Phillips Square. Barev Youth Created in 2017, this group of youth representatives organizes socials including movie and trivia nights as well as local festivals and fundraising events. They also synergize youth outreach in the community, including social media campaigns.Barev CultureCreated in 2018, this group presents exciting topics on Armenian and Canadian culture, profiling influencial ommunity members and showcasing thought-provoking topics of interest.
