Big C New Me is a national network serving cancer survivors and caregivers. We help women, men and teenagers deal with the challenges of living with and overcoming cancer by providing confidence building, educational and support programs. Don't just survive. Thrive! Big C New Me was founded by Amy Hart in April 2013. As a cancer survivor, Amy struggled with self-image and confidence challenges that affected her personally and professionally. After six years of good health and having recovered her confidence, she came to the realization that many others were experiencing similar problems. Closing the gap from guilt- and fear-based living to a life of acceptance became a personal mission for Amy. After the first makeover event, it was evident that this mission was shared by others. She was overwhelmed with volunteers wanting to make a difference, and with cancer survivors desperately needing the service.
