Biolink Attention Training provides parenting workshops, and partners with schools to educate on how cognitive skills development plays an important role in academic performance.We make use of electroence-phalography (EEG) Neuro-Cognitive Training, which is a It is a brain training technique that helps individuals learn to concentrate more effectively and for longer periods when doing simple tasks like reading or boring tasks (as in school). The main aim of these exercises is to improve concentration. We make use of Play Attention hardware and software and we are the sole provider of Play Attention in the South Africa. Our Play Attention program uses Neurofeedback technology to address issues identified in our FOCUS test. Neurofeedback improves a child's executive function by improving their ability to pay attention, organise, prioritise, regulate emotions and complete tasks.Children with well developed executive function have better developed short- and long term memory, motor skills, hand-eye coordination and sustained attention. Neurofeedback participants also make greater improvements in ADD/ADHD symptoms. Play Attention has been used in three large studies on ADHD which showed huge improvements on many aspects of ADHD. Improvements have also been seen on individuals with Autism, Aspergers, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia as well as individuals with Alzheimers, dementia and short term memory challenges.
