We are a seafood trading company and producer of premium quality Oysters (Crassostrea gigas) sustainably grown in the cool, nutrient rich waters of Saldanha Bay, situated on the beautiful West Coast of South Africa. Through strategic partnerships and collaboration with other top growers in the region, we also source and supply delicious South African grown Mediterranean mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis) to our discerning local and international clients.Oysters and mussels appear on the WWF-SASSI Green List (World Wildlife Fund's Southern African Sustainable Seafood Initiative), which means they are considered to be amongst the most sustainable seafood choices, from the healthiest and most well-managed fish populations. These species can handle current fishing pressure or are farmed in a way that does not harm the ocean or theOur team has over 30 years of knowledge and experience in aquaculture, with an intimate understanding of both local and international markets for bivalve products (i.e. oysters and mussels). We also possess over 50 years of combined business knowledge and experience across a variety of industries including Legal, Finance, FMCG, Hospitality and Gaming. Members of our executive team have worked for some of the best blue-chip companies in the world, including Citigroup, Naspers, AB InBev, Grand Parade Investments and ESPAfrika, managing multi-million dollar portfolios and world famous events such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
