Book Bank Trust is an organisation to support the under privileged children in becoming effective members of the informed community - who exhibit tolerance and respect for diverse cultures, languages and ideas -- by making the best in children's literature and text books available in the Book Banks.We provide resources and training to local communities throughout the underprivileged, less cared areas of educationally backward districts of India, to provide quality educational opportunities by establishing community reading rooms. We provide school textbooks as well as local language children's literature to create an atmosphere of learning and healthy upbringing. We seek to intervene early in the lives of children in the belief that education empowers people to improve socioeconomic conditions for their families, communities, countries and future generations. Through the opportunities that only education can provide, we strive to break the cycle of poverty.
