Brain Waves Development Details
Brain Waves Development (BWD) is a ground-breaking non-profit organisation that focuses on educational initiatives that are directed in service to the previously disadvantaged black young learners in the public schooling sector at no cost. This gives them the opportunity to engage and interact in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation (STEMI). BWD acknowledges the critical urgency of advancing racial equity in society and our work in township schools reflects on this. It is also through this work with township schools and its communities that we are active citizens. BWD has taken a brave step in ensuring that black learners in township schools get equal opportunities like their counterparts in multiracial and private schools. Through our Loxion Science division we are certain that we have a key role to play in the development and promotion of STEMI literacy in South Africa and especially townships and rural areas in South Africa. Under our Loxion Science division we have the following initiatives;• Loxion Science Fair and Expo • Loxion Science STEMI camps (for boys and girls separately)• Loxion Science Climate Change Action• Brain Waves development NewsletterBWD is leading Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Innovation (STEMI) eLoxion.
