BSTEP (Black Science, Technology and Engineering Professionals) is a non-profit advocacy organisation with the aim of advancing black excellence in Science, Engineering, Technology and Innovation. BSTEP is a non-profit organization that has been at the forefront of advancing black SET excellence since 2005. Its mission is embedded in supporting historically disenfranchised majority to pursue science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) as well as to use STEM for economic development for all South Africans. In this regard BSTEP wishes to enhance its marketing and communications features to build on its past successes and to position itself as a partner in the SET and innovation space.
