I am announcing my candidacy for Chairman of Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. As your County Commission Chairman, I will end the circle of corruption that has infected Gwinnett County leadership. Gwinnett deserves a Chairman who will represent the people who live and work in Gwinnett County, and not the just wealthy land developers and political elite. We must look outside the same old barrel of rotten apples for a Chairman who will restore honesty and integrity to our county government. We need a leader who is not aligned with the corrupt political circle, nor beholding to large developers, nor a vast land holder looking to turn a huge profit at taxpayer expense. As Chairman I understand that economic stability and quality of life are as important as economic growth. Stability and growth can co-exist without sacrificing the quality of life that has made Gwinnett County great. I believe that integrity is the willingness to do the right thing even when no one is looking. As your Commission Chairman, I will serve with honesty and integrity; and will represent the interests of Gwinnett residents and small businesses. There will not be any backroom deals nor secret meetings with contractors or developers. Enough is Enough. It's time for NEW Leadership in Gwinnett County.
