Cantina Vecchia Torre is one of the most important and successful cooperatives in the Province of Lecce, in South Apulia, Italy. For years Vecchia Torre wines has been awarded on international wine competitions as Vinitaly and Prowein, and in famous and specialized Magazines (Slow Food, Gambero Rosso, Luigi Veronelli and Lm by Luca Maroni), confirming the great quality and value-for-money of our wines. Indeed, our wines are known for reflecting the authentic flavors of local grapes and for guaranteeing an "accessible quality" to the most refined lovers of wine. The predominant varietals are the local Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia of Lecce, combined together with red grapes of Montepulciano and Syrah. The most important white varietals are Vermentino, Malvasia Bianca, Chardonnay and Trebbiano.
