Capital Area Psychological Association is an association of mental health professionals who engage in continuing education, professional advocacy, monthly meetings, and professional development. First and foremost, it offers the opportunity to meet other psychologists in the community to find out about their practices and to become more connected to the wider network of mental health professionals in the capital area. With eight monthly programs (including a meeting with the local association of psychiatrists), you can also earn 18 of the TSBEP yearly requirement of 20 continuing education credits by attending all of our meetings, as well as our Fall and Spring Conferences.Membership in CAPA also gives you the opportunity to have an impact on the profession of psychology in Austin-- we are trying to come up with new ways to promote psychology as a profession and to educate the public about psychology and what it can offer!!
