Consulting Electrical Engineers Association of Maharashtra (CEEAMA) was established in the year 2004, with the purpose to bring all consulting electrical engineering professionals on one platform. The consulting Engineer's fraternity forms a major link between suppliers and Clients and play important role in design and Engineering of the projects. Consulting Engineers have to deal with regulatory and statutory framework not only while designing and specifying, but also while executing the project.Knowledge and awareness regarding noise pollution, environmental concern, energy saving and conservation, electrical safety, and optimum use of resources are some of the key burning issues which needs to be addressed for the benefit of mankind. CEEAMA intends to carry this message forward in design and execution of projects.With the above objectives in mind CEEAMA has organized and conducted many interactive and educational programs for the benefit of young engineers on various topics such as Fundamental of Protection and Relays, Static Electricity, Energy efficiency, Harmonics and means to mitigate it, UPS and its application, Transformer etc. in the past. Professionals have benefited immensely through such sessions.Experts in various fields have been invited to deliver lectures.CEEAMA has associated itself actively with other similar associations have organized factory visits with manufacturers and have also organized CEEAMATECH 2011 & CEEAMATECH 2013 which met with overwhelming response. About 250 Life members, associate members, leading consultants and these suppliers participated in mega events. Leading Professionals presented papers on subjects such as GIS substation, Power quality issues, Green building, LED lighting and Renewable energy sources. It was a huge success and all participants benefited through it.
