The CellFiber™ technology consists of hollow and permeable alginate hydrogel outer shells and a cell-rich core region. The core-shell microfibers protect from shear stress, control the thickness of cell aggregates produced and provide an easily removable covering. This ensures homogeneous and scalable 3D culture conditions. These characteristics can be used for:1. High-density cell culture2. Reducing cost of goods and footprint for manufacturing3. Scalable culture method from laboratory to commercial manufacturing for clinical use Thus far, we have been developing scale-up manufacturing processes for MSCs, iPSCs, T cells, NK cells, AAV vectors, and Lentiviral vectors. This platform-based development and manufacturing process disconnects production from specific products and will have an enormous impact on reducing development cost, timelines, and cost of goods, and will allow drug developers to significantly expand clinical pipelines in multiple therapeutic areas. We will work together with you for process development from the preclinical stage to improve your scale-up and cost reduction. We are looking for CMOs, CDMOs, therapeutic companies, pharmaceutical companies, and/or pharma manufacturing companies who need to improve cell culturing processes.
