The Center for Effective Foreign Assistance (CEFA) is made up of stakeholders who desire to advance U.S. leadership in promoting effective, efficient and transparent development assistance that leads to economic growth, global health advancements, and poverty reduction around the world. Initially, CEFA will focus on the following eight core areas: Aid Effectiveness, Food Security, International Security, Global Health, International Conservation, Poverty Reduction, Education, and Economic Growth and Trade. The Center supports the efforts of and works with Congressman Crenshaw and Congressman Adam Smith's Bipartisan Congressional Caucus on Effective Foreign Assistance (CCEFA) to implement policymakers' forums and roundtables, and establish an annual conference to highlight aid effectiveness, the reform agenda, and foreign assistance effectiveness success stories.
