Geo-data sovereignty is the culmination of geospatial technologies and data sovereignty. Exponential growth of data in the contemporary times is necessitating strategic dialogues on data acquisition, storage and access in all forms and formats. Geospatial technologies, 4th Gen Industrial revolution and host allied technologies are recasting conventional ecosystems with a promise for a dynamic future for businesses, governments, and communities. To stay ahead of the curve, CKS India endeavors to include geospatial technology and data into its purview and help its audience understand imperatives of this segment. This platform exists to develop all thoughts and create a safe environment for educative discourses, thought-provoking dialogues and publication of curated content to steer a culture of research and innovation not only for the growth of the domain as a whole but also to lay strong foundations for ‘new India'.CKS is headed by Lt Gen Dr D B Shekatkar(retd) as Chairman, Lt Gen V M Patil (retd) as Vice Chairman and Vinit Goenka as Secretary. Along with the Governing council and executive council, CKS works in the area of policy recommendations in the areas of knowledge sovereignty. Through a series of discussions, roundtables, conferences, out reach programmes, interactions with youth and students from school, CKS creates awareness about various upcoming areas that will drive India to be a global superpower by 2030 and take Indian economy to 5 Trillion US$.
