Mental Health Care - North Lakes, Queensland, Australia
The Child and Adolescent Development Service is a psychology practice committed to helping young people and their families get the best out of life. Our friendly psychologists can assist with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, stress management, grief & loss, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability and other developmental disorders, challenging behaviour, bullying, learning problems, social difficulties, gifted/talented learners, school readiness, parenting support and advice. We are highly trained and very experienced at providing evidence-based therapies tailored to suit our clients. We also offer comprehensive assessments (e.g. cognitive functioning, academic progress, executive functioning, ADHD and ASD) to assist in better understanding underlying reasons for a young person's difficulties. We run supportive group programs (including the Secret Agent Society Program for children with ASD) and we are early intervention providers under the Helping Children with Autism Program through the Department of Social Services.
