Château Brane-Cantenac, second classified growth since 1855, in Margaux, France and producing world famous fine wines. With 75 hectares of vines growing on a gravely soil, Brane Cantenac is one of the largest vineyards in the Médoc region. A classified growth since 1855, Chateau Brane-Cantenac has been in the hands of the Lurton family since 1925 and boasts a prestigious past dating back to the 18th century and later the Baron de Brane. Back in 1992, Henri Lurton took over the property and created a state-of the-art winery. His knowledge of the rich terroir of Brane as well as inovative winemaking techniques enables him to produce a distinguished, aromatic, complex and balanced wine year in and year out. Henri Lurton's goal is to produce the best possible wine based on what the soil can offer. Above all, he seeks to achieve optimal grape quality and perfectly healthy and ripe fruit so that the wine combines structure with elegance and possesses great aromatic purity.
