The Claremont Community Foundation was established in 1989 to serve as a private nonprofit philanthropic vehicle for donors wishing to support a wide range of community arts, human services, education, and cultural heritage programs.It is structured and invested as a "family" of component Funds, each with its own purpose, donor(s), and distribution plan. The Foundation has distributed over $750,000 to more than 150 local programs through initiatives, discretionary grants, donor-directed funds and special collaborative projects.The Claremont Community Foundation helps build and strengthen community and brings together people and organizations that want to make a difference in the world. CCF is a tax-exempt public charity that guides philanthropy and are dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Foothill communities.Individuals, families, businesses and organizations work with the Claremont Community Foundation to create permanent charitable funds that help meet the challenges of changing times.
