CodeGirlTO is a community-funded coding boot camp liaison. We primarily focus on sponsoring women (18+) from low-income backgrounds (with no prior tech-related education) who are looking to break into the tech industry by learning how to code. We have partnerships with two boot camps in Toronto.Coding can be a great equalizer in tech-related fields for women. With our program, our participants not only learn how to code via reputable boot camps, but they also attain basic training on how to present themselves as job candidates, write CVs, and self promote. We utilize our network in the tech industry to connect them to a variety of internships.
