Colorado Springs Chorale Details
The Colorado Springs Chorale is a 120-voice adult, auditioned, volunteer premier symphonic chorus performing independently or under contract with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic or the United States Air force Academy Concert Band. The Chorale has provided musical support to major civic events in the community since 1956 and assisted numerous nonprofit organizations through benefit performances, donations of tickets, and/or free seats to its own performances.. Chorale's focus has been on the performance of great choral works, with full orchestra, in venues and with staging appropriate to the quality and character of the material. These regional performances help to insure the continued existence of Colorado Springs Chorale's heritage for our children. Concerts range from classical to pops, as well as performing annual Christmas and patriotic concerts. Auditions are held in January and September.
