Conexão Verde (Green Connection) is an online journalism workshop that discusses and practices the latest ideas and knowledge on efficient communication on climate change and sustainability. It places itself at the intersection of information, science, culture and networks on global sustainability, and brings a wealth of international experience and news to a Brazilian audience.Green Connection's mission is to advance the way the media is narrating the climate change story and its correlations with sustainability. The core of our work is to investigate how to better and more efficiently communicate this story – the most important of this century, and also the most challenging. The online journalism of Green Connection, by being in the forefront on how to communicate climate change and sustainability, in its turn aims to inspire scientists, politicians, bureaucrats, activists and think-tanks on how to frame their messages.
