Nonprofit, American Heart Association and American Red Cross training and community education outreach organization that was founded and began operations in January 2000. Since that time, Its volunteer staff have trained over 12,00 members of our Southern California community. In 2010, CORE CPR, Inc., a 501 c(3) non profit corporation, was created to formally solidify its professional and independent grant application status, still a proactive, community-focused, action group of volunteers with additional plans to expand their program into other areas of The United States. Working together, we can prevent the needless loss of life often due to the lack of CPR emergency response training by family members and neighbors, who although present, were either unable or unprepared to avert tragedy. CORE CPR's Mission Statement: To empower the public to safely act in an emergency; to focus attention on child safety and accident prevention and to prevent accidental drowning; to improve heart health awareness; and to save lives by providing English, ASL, and Spanish CPR, AED, and First Aid on-site training and education in our community. CORE CPR specifically targets its training efforts to those tasked with the care, education, training, and safekeeping of children, by American Heart Association and American Red Cross-trained and -certified volunteers for minimal cost, best value, or sliding scale depending upon the individual's financial ability.
