The Cork Association for Autism was set up in 1978 by parents of children with autism in order to provide supports for adults with autism. Services provided include Residential Care, Respite, Home Support, Day Service and an Asperger Syndrome Support Service. The service provides person centred support and skill development programmes to adults on the Autism spectrum. Our core objective is to provide best-in-class services and deliver individual focused care plans for as many individuals as possible in the region. We aim to grow awareness and understanding within our community and society generally of the unique challenges faced by individuals on Autism Spectrum. Service centres are based in Carrigtwohill, Mogeely, Midleton, Raffeen, Model Farm Road and Penrose Wharf. Our mission is to ensure that those availing of our services and their families have a quality of life that we all aspire to.
