The 'Outros Cantos' Chamber Choir was founded in September 2009 with the purpose of interpret and disseminate polyphonic choral music in its various aspects and contexts. Conducted by Jorge Afonso and Alexandra Fortes, the 'Outros Cantos' is a mixed choir made up of twenty singers, organized into four distinct vocal categories. Performing a cappella or in collaboration with musicians, the choir has a wide repertoire that integrates diverse musical styles from different historical periods from the Renaissance to contemporary choral music.
