Lactation support is offered to company employees as a benefit that ensures employee's smooth transition back to work after having a baby.Providing lactation support to employees also delivers a number of economic benefits for the company, including health care cost reduction, lower rates of absenteeism, improved retention rates, improved job satisfaction, productivity and morale. It also serves as an attractive hiring incentive.What We Do: For small- to mid-size companies we offer on-demand lactation support and education for employees and their spouses, telehealth and one-on-one lactation services. We help employees navigate through breastfeeding questions while they are expecting, during their parental leave and upon their return to work. With larger clients our main focus is on training and education for both the management team (on compliance and related organizational and ethical issues) and to new and expecting parents (on how to combine breastfeeding and work). We also provide pumping equipment for rent and assist in setting up the lactation space where a nursing mother can pump breast milk or breastfeed her baby. Most of our lactation services are covered by major health insurance plans.
