COSBI is a partnership between Microsoft Research and the University of Trento. It has an international reputation for world-class research and driving for high impact in bioinformatics and computational biology applied to the fields of systems nutrition and systems pharmacology. It successfully attracts research contracts from top-level food and pharmaceutical companies. COSBI started its operations over 10 years ago developing proprietary algorithms and methods to analyze, model and simulate biological systems at the molecular level, and connect these systems to higher level phenotypes.
