The County Governance Watch (CGW) is a registered governance not-for-profit organization. It is an active participant in governance development and social transformation in Kenya. Since its Inception, CGW has made significant strides in strengthening the pillars of good governance through creation of County Governance Index (CGI) for measuring the governance level of the County, children welfare, human rights, empowering women, building bridges between government and citizens, and advocating for transparency and accountability.
