Crease Coach was founded in 2013 by Johnny Rodriguez with the goal of sharing his knowledge of the goalie position with those around the country. Johnny began playing lacrosse in 8th grade in Maryland and graduated from Salisbury University in 2012. At Salisbury he won a National Championship (2011) and the National Goalie of the Year for Division 3 (2011). He went on to play in both the MLL and LXM Pro Series and is currently the Head Coach at Mater Dei High School in Orange County, California. The current National Director of Crease Coach is Tyler Schweickert. Tyler began playing lacrosse in 4th grade and is a former Crease Coach goalie. Tyler played at Limestone College in 2017 and is currently the starting goalie at Concordia University Irvine in Southern California. Tyler was named to the All-Freshman team in 2018 and an All-Conference selection in 2019.
