D-Dads Charter - About us - We are local dads with a son or daughter living with a disability in Western Australia. Our purpose -To raise the visibility of disability in our communities and ensure the best opportunities and life experiences are available to all people living with a disability and that they live safely and included in their communities. We do this by - Sharing our individual family stories to contribute to a greater awareness of real lives impactedEncouraging our personal and professional networks to work with us to achieve our purposeIdentifying opportunities to facilitate and promote great outcomes with influential groupsWho are D-Dad Members -D-Dads Full Members - are dads with a son or daughter with a disabilityD-Dads Friends - are people who work closely with D-Dads.Prospective Members are referred by D-Dads membersMembership is conferred by D-Dads Full MembersOperating Principles -D- Dads is a voluntary common interest group.Our Convenor is elected annually.Members contribute their skills in support.
