The Lugarno Football Club (Lugarno FC) is a grass roots community club formed in 1962. It is one of the most prominent, successful and respected clubs in the St George Football Association and plays its home games at Gannons Park, Peakhurst. Lugarno FC hosts the popular under 8's Gala Day and jointly hosts the Richo Cup charity event. It also holds the annual Life Members Day; hosts senior and junior presentations; and the highly successful and fun Trivia Night fund raiser. The club also operates one of the best canteens in the competition and communicates with members and the wider community via a website, various social media mediums and electronic newsletters. In the most recent football season the club fielded some 42 teams (20 competition and 22 non-competition teams) and had more than 500 registered players and 102 team officials covering the age groups from the under 6's to the over 45's. The Club fields teams across both genders.Lugarno FC's club values encompass and promote fun, friendship, football and families.Over the decades Lugarno FC has won 112 premierships across different age groups and genders making it one of the most successful football clubs in the St George Football Association.Lugarno FC enjoys a broad geographical reach and appeal with players originating from more than 70 suburbs across the Sydney region.
