Dark Horse Rescue, Inc. (DHR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation committed to the rescue of abused, neglected and abandoned horses in Northern Mississippi and Western Tennessee. In pursuit of our mission, DHR is dedicated to providing the following: •Provide food, shelter, medical care and adoption services for surrendered and legally impounded horses in the North Mississippi area entrusted to our care •Facilitate the surrender of horses due to owner neglect or abandonment •Educational resource on proper care and responsibility of horse ownership As a 100% volunteer organization, DHR looks to the Mississippi and West Tennessee community for assistance in providing our rescued horses with the lives they deserve.
