Philanthropy - Columbus, Georgia, United States
Youth Infrastructure Coalition is a non-profit organization with a mission of: "Engaging youth to solve the problems of today, and pave a brighter future through infrastructure projects." Our current focus is promoting Interstate 14, a proposed Interstate highway that would run from west Texas and terminate in Augusta, Georgia. I-14 will do much to address key issues the south is facing today such as persistent poverty, lack of connectivity, and traffic congestion. It will also strengthen our nation's national security by linking ports, provide an additional hurricane evacuation route for those in the Gulf and the East Coast, as well as lay the groundwork for a more economically developed south.
